Hannells is Derby’s top-selling, award-winning, family-run estate agency, and we’re looking for an experienced Senior Sales Negotiator to join one of our successful branches.

This is a varied, fast-paced role where you’ll have the opportunity to make a real difference to our buyers and sellers whilst working alongside a friendly team that genuinely supports one another.

The Role

As a Senior Sales Negotiator, you’ll play a key role in delivering what we call “Moving Experiences” for buyers and sellers across Derby.

Your responsibilities will include:

✅ Registering buyers and matching them with suitable properties
✅ Negotiating offers to achieve the best possible outcome for our clients
✅ Booking valuations and identifying new business opportunities
✅ Arranging viewings and maintaining regular communication with buyers and sellers
✅ Providing honest, proactive feedback and marketing advice to vendors
✅ Instructing new sales – sales progression is carried out by a dedicated sales progressor
✅ Working closely with your branch colleagues to achieve shared success

No two days are ever the same, and you’ll be trusted to manage your workload professionally whilst delivering the high standards our customers expect.

What We’re Looking For

This role is suited to someone who already understands residential estate agency and enjoys helping people move home.

To be considered, you’ll need:

✅ A minimum of one year’s experience working in residential estate agency sales
✅ A good understanding of the property buying and selling process
✅ Excellent communication and negotiation skills
✅ Strong organisation and attention to detail
✅ Confidence speaking to customers both face-to-face and over the phone
✅ A professional, positive attitude and strong work ethic

Working Hours

📅 Five days per week
📆 Every other Saturday, with a fixed day off during the week
⌚ 8:45am to 5:30pm Monday to Friday
⌚ 9:00am to 4:00pm Saturdays

We have six sales branches across Derby, along with a Lettings head office, each with nearby parking and local amenities.
