Hannells Share Of The Sold Properties in Derby Climbs to 33.9%

< Back

Experienced Staff in Local BranchesDerby born and bred estate agency, Hannells, has yet again seen an increase in their share of the total sold properties in Derby…

In the latest independent report which was published earlier in the week, Hannells now accounts for 33.9% of the current sold market, meaning that they now sell more than one in every three properties sold in the city and surrounding suburbs.

Benjamin Brain, Managing Director, said “We could not be more delighted with the news and it shows that our hunger for innovation, constant development of our staff and the service we offer is continuing to pay off. We’re determined to be, not the biggest, but the best Estate Agency our customers will ever encounter and that’s why we never stand still. We’re always looking at ways to improve the customer experience and bringing in new innovations to help our clients achieve the best possible price”.

In a report which sees the gap between Hannells and the agent in second place become even larger, perhaps the biggest surprise is the fact that the sold share of eight out of nine of the next best agents has actually shrunk.

Mr Brain continued, “With the second best agent having a share of just 8.6%, we’re selling almost four times as many houses as our closest competitor and this gap continues to grow on a monthly basis. It’s not down to luck either, we work tirelessly to help our clients reach their goals and we know that there’s nobody else out there that can bring to the table what we can in terms of our staff, our marketing,  our service and our locations.”

With a large percentage of their customer base coming from customer recommendations and repeat business, they certainly seem to have the formula right at Hannells. You would think that with such a lead over competing estate agents in the area, they can relax a bit, but according to Mr Brain, that’s not on the cards.

“We know that because we’re so popular in Derby and the surrounding suburbs, there’s going to be a lot of agents gunning for us and we welcome the competition. We’ve got some big plans that we’ll be unveiling before the end of the year and some very exciting things in the pipeline.”

Friendly and helpful with your best interests at heartEven in a buoyant market, selling houses isn’t easy because there’s so much more to it than meets the eye, especially if you’re hoping to achieve the best price, in a timescale to suit you and with the least amount of stress and hassle.

“There are plenty of agents out there who offer cheap fees to tempt people to list their properties with them but they simply don’t have the resources, the experienced staff, the local presence, the online presence or the motivation to do what it really takes to get the best outcome for their clients. We sell many houses for customers who were enticed by the low fees but quickly become frustrated with the lack of service and interest. They then come to instruct us and we get the job done properly.”
