Hannells Welcomes Elle Hackett To The Team!

< Back

Elle joins our ever growing Lettings team in the role of Valuations Manager and brings a passion for the Lettings industry and a great knowledge of the Derby rental market with her!

Hannells Director Ben Brain said: “Elle will be a great asset to our Lettings department and along with her experience brings a fantastically positive attitude and great work ethic to the role. She is focussed on delivering the absolute best in customer service and her knowledge of the industry will be a great benefit to our customers old and new”

We asked Elle to tell us a little bit more about herself…

What experience did you have in Estate Agency or other roles before joining Hannells?

Prior to joining Hannells, I worked as a Lettings Negotiator for Burchell Edwards in Ripley, Derbyshire for a year and a half. Here, I took on all aspects of the lettings industry, from negotiating to valuing, listing and all in between.

What made you want to work at Hannells?

Hannells have an exceptional reputation within the area and are the current market leaders. The fact the business is an independent and ever-growing agent, is a huge plus point as to be part of a team that are constantly improving and expanding creates a lot of job satisfaction, as well as motivation to self-improve and in turn reap the rewards.

What do you feel is key to providing excellent customer service and delivering a moving experience?

Being a confident, friendly and approachable person is a major factor in any customer service role. This typically helps to build trust and rapport with customers. Reliability and responsibility are also basic measures when it comes to customer service as the client needs to know that when you give them your word you take all approaches to stick to it. Knowing your products and services and believing in them are also a must when it comes to this industry, as if you don’t believe in the benefits of what you are offering, neither will the customers.  Alongside all this is punctuality, this is the base of customer service as people will always take note of time-keeping and if this is not a skill you hold, then it is very likely you will not succeed in providing the best service to your clients.

Could you share something about yourself, favourite past time, favourite sports or T.V shows etc?

I have grown up riding horses and owning animals, so this is one of my loves. I live off caffeine, my middle name is Teddie and I’m 5ft tall.

If you had to describe yourself in a few words, what would they be?

I would say I am super friendly, have a good sense of humour and I’m always there for anyone who needs me.

So welcome Elle and we wish you all the best in your new role!
