The Hannells team is growing! We’re delighted to announce the arrival (or should that be the return…) of Oliver Brain who joins our busy Allestree branch.

Oliver joins the team in the role of Valuations Manager and brings a wealth of experience with him. Oliver (as you might have guessed) has been a part of the Hannells family business (literally) for many years and built an impressive 8 year career with Hannells across varying roles within the business, from accompanied viewer to sales negotiator to valuations manager and everything in between!

We asked Oliver to give us a bit more information about his career progression and to introduce himself…

What experience did you have in Estate Agency or other roles before joining Hannells?

I have 8 years experience in all aspects of the property industry from my previous time with Hannells prior to a 5 year departure into the motor industry, working with BMW and Renault Dacia UK.

What made you want to work at Hannells?

Family ties played a role in my decision, but it’s also a pleasure to be working for the best of the best in the property industry!

What do you feel is key to providing excellent customer service and delivering a moving a experience?

A strong understanding of individual needs of customers, the importance of communication, and working with a team who are driven to provide every customer with an exceptional service.

Could you share something about yourself, favourite past time, favourite sports or T.V shows?

I’m an Avid American Football fan, and a fan of property and cooking shows! (Grand Designs and Great British Bake Off to name just two!)

If you had to describe yourself in a few words, what would they be?

Passionate, enthusiastic and driven.
