The Hannells Team Is Growing! We’re delighted to announce the arrival of Jacob Toon who joins our busy Lettings Team.

Jacob joins the ever-expanding Lettings team in the role of Listings/Viewings Manager and joins with a fantastic list of formal qualifications and experience in real estate and surveying.

Director Ben Brain said: ‘It’s fantastic to welcome someone such as Jacob to the Lettings team and to the Hannells family. Jacob has a passion for all things property and has proved through hard work and dedication to formal qualifications that he has a great future in the property industry. We look forward to Jacob growing within the Lettings team and know we will all benefit from his continued studies towards his MSc’

We asked Jacob to give us a little bit more information and introduce himself…

 

What experience did you have in Estate Agency or other roles before joining Hannells?

Before joining Hannells I completed an array of qualifications, whilst also gaining valuable industry experience in the process. The qualifications I currently hold are an NVQ Level 2 in the sale of residential properties and a bachelor’s degree in Drama. I am currently working towards my MSc in Real Estate at Nottingham Trent University, which should be achieved in 2021. As previously stated, I have gained valuable industry experience, working for companies such as: Bagshaws Residential in Ashbourne and Edward Cooper Young, a surveying firm operating in Loughborough.

 

What made you want to work at Hannells?

Hannells is a renowned family run business throughout Derby and its surrounding suburbs. The business prides itself on providing exceptional customer service to all its clients. This has been proven by the numerous awards the business has won since its establishment in 2003. The continued success the business has received has allowed the company to expand and carry on expanding throughout the COVID-19 pandemic. This highlights the great ambition Hannells places on its brand and staff. It was this ambition that first attracted me to the business.

 

What do you feel is key to providing excellent customer service and delivering a moving experience?

One of the key attributes an individual must possess to provide excellent customer service is the ability to work as a team. The moving process has several different stages which need to be handled in a professional and organised manner. Therefore, it is vital that the team works in a harmonious fashion, allowing the customer to experience the smoothest transition throughout the moving process.

 

Could you share something about yourself, your favorite past time, favorite sports, or favorite T.V shows?

My favorite sporting activity outside of the working environment is golf.

 

If you had to describe yourself in a few words, what would they be?

As an individual, I am driven, friendly and reliable.
