Hannells Welcomes Michael Lee To The Team!

Michael joins our thriving Lettings Team in the role of Lettings Director.

Having already worked for some of the industries leading companies across Derby and at a nationwide level, it is great to have him on board. His expertise and passion for the Lettings industry will be a positive asset in further growing our already thriving Lettings division’

We asked Michael to give us a bit more information and introduce himself.

What experience did you have in Estate Agency or other roles before joining Hannells?

I have worked in lettings and property across Derby for nearly 15 years now. Half of my lettings experience was spent at Director level for a specialist Derby based letting agent and immediately prior to joining Hannells I was a branch manager for a large nationwide agent. I have also seen how the online agents operate having worked in this field for 15 months.

What made you want to work at Hannells?

The Hannells brand, prominence and reputation is unrivaled across Derby. We are Derby’s most positively reviewed agent and I saw a company with direction, values and a core focus on the customer which aligned with my thoughts. The opportunity to be an integral part of the future success and growth of it’s already successful lettings team excites me and I look forward to the challenge.

What do you feel is key to providing excellent customer service and delivering a moving experience? 

I believe that making decisions and offering advice that is always in the best interests of the client is key. We also have a clear but simple vision of amazing every client and combining these aspects delivers a level of service and a positive customer experience.

Could you share something about yourself, favorite past time, favorite sports or T.V shows etc?

I am a big sports fan and am a season ticket holder at Derby County along with my daughter Sophie. You can also find me on the golf course, cricket pitch or even on the oche throwing a few darts!! We have a number of sights and attractions here in Derbyshire and I like to get away to the open countryside when I’m able, along with my wife Andrea daughter Sophie and newest addition to the family Maisie who is just five months old.

If you had to describe yourself in a few words, what would they be?

I am an ambitious person who likes a challenge.
