Would You Like To View A Property?
If you’d like to view a property, there are strict guidelines as per instructed by the Government on who can view properties and how the viewing is carried out. These include:
- If you have any symptoms, however mild, of COVID-19, are vulnerable, are self-isolating or have been asked to self-isolate – you MUST not visit the Hannells branches or any properties that are on the market. If you call to arrange a viewing, you will be asked this question.
- You should only be viewing properties that you have a serious interest in.
- If you are not yet on the market and need to sell in order to purchase a property, your viewing request will be refused.
- Only two adults from the same household can attend the viewing. No children or extended family members are allowed.
- For viewings that we attend, you’ll be allotted a strict time limit of 15 minutes and if you’re late, that won’t be extended.
- For viewings that we attend, you’ll be asked to sanitise your hands before entering the property – please make sure you bring your own.
- No door handles or hard surfaces are to be touched or cupboards/wardrobes to be opened.
- You should maintain a minimum distance of 2 metres from others at all times whilst on the viewing.
Are You On The Market With Hannells And Are Carrying Out A Viewing?
If you’re on the market with Hannells and have a viewing arranged where you’ll be showing the viewer around, you must adhere to the following guidelines:
- If you have any symptoms, however mild, of COVID-19, are vulnerable, are self-isolating or have been asked to self-isolate – you MUST not visit the Hannells branches or be carrying out any viewings on your property.
- There should be no more than 2 adults from the same household turning up to view the property, with no children or extended family.
- Viewers should bring with them their own sanitiser and use it before entering the property. If available, you can also provide hand washing facilities for your viewers on arrival with soap and a separate towel that is to be washed after each use or paper towels that are to be disposed of immediately.
- All doors should be open in the property so that there is no reason for your viewings to have to touch anything. It is advised that you should stay in another room whilst the property is viewed or even stay outside.
- It’s recommended that all valuables are kept out of plain sight and secure.
- A minimum distance of 2 metres should be kept between others at all times.
- After your viewers have left, all door handles and hard surfaces are to be sanitised.
Would You Like To Book A Valuation?
If you’d like to arrange a valuation for the purposes of putting your property on the market, please adhere to the following guidelines:
- If you have any symptoms, however mild, of COVID-19, are vulnerable, are self-isolating or have been asked to self-isolate – you MUST not visit the Hannells branches or invite us to your property to provide a market appraisal.
- If you’re calling for a valuation for reasons other than putting your property on the market, we will not be visiting your property but would be happy to provide you with a desktop valuation.
- When arranging the valuation, you will be asked if any of the above applies.
- Before the valuation takes place, please make sure all doors are left open.
- During the valuation, it is advised that you stay in another room or outside of the property altogether.
- At all times, please maintain a minimum distance of 2 metres from others.
