We’ve picked out the top 5 paint colour trends for 2022 to keep your home looking beautiful!

With Spring in the air and our minds turning to new life, new growth and refreshing our homes and gardens, now is a great time to take a look at the hottest paint trends of the year.

 

Just as interior design trends change from year to year, so does the colour scheme, so we’ve had a little look through what the top interior designers are earmarking. Why not take a look at our top 5 paint colour trends for 2022…

 

Pantone

 

Pantone’s ‘Very Peri’ 17-3938

Top of the list for new colours is Pantone’s Very Peri – According to Pantone, this is a ‘dynamic periwinkle blue hue with vivifying violet red undertones’ we aren’t entirely sure what that all means, but it is a lovely colour! Take a look here.

House Beautiful suggest ‘Very Peri is great for providing an eye-catching pop of colour – either through a painted wall or accent furniture. Or, if you only want a touch of Very Peri in your home, pick out blue or lilac glassware accessories and group them together for impact, then add a few stems of lavender.

You might remember from last years Kitchen Trends, that dark colours were creeping into homes as the go to trend in kitchen design, now it seems that trend is carrying over to interior paint choices. Almost in complete contrast to the Moody Hues comes the use of warm neutrals for background walls. Adding a touch of bright, clean and crisp colours mixed with a touch of warmth to tone down the harsh effects and married with natural wood furniture can create a great look!
